I have been working at Guangdong Radio and Television Station for 1 month in 2020, and this was my first internship.

• Demonstrated international, multilingual and cross-cultural communication competencies, responsible for identifying, vetting and drafting diverse news content on an hourly and daily basis.

• Worked to tight and changeable deadlines, ensuring breaking news was published in a timely manner.

• Held daily team meetings to discuss and agree on news item selections, liaising across multiple departments to facilitate the drafting of content, image selection, story positioning and op-ed content.

• Effectively managed the daily production of 10 pieces of Hard News and 5 pieces of People's News.

• Provided operational support to live and recorded broadcasts, switching scenes and handling the line-setter.

• Edited and copy-approved news items and content prior to publication, ensuring tone, style and messaging remain on-brand and consistent for the publication as a whole.
